GO SAILING! 7/28/2009

There has been more weather days this month, with thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon.  The past few weeks have been great for the trips we have taken.  We have seen great sailing conditions and smooth seas.  Several nights we have been able to do our sunset trips right down the beach with a strong south wind.  People that stay on the beach love to take our picture as we ride out for our sunset trips.  We have seen loads of dolphins this month, groups of 10-15 are pretty normal in the Gulf.  GO SAILING!  Capt Ryan.

Here is a small collection of some of the recently added photos to the gallery.

We are still having our great weather, the seas are laying down nicly in the evening for our sunsets, the day trips are very sporty after about 10am, the winds pick up to 18 knots next to the beach (2-3 miles).  Great couples on our shared sunsets and family trips all day long.  Looking forward to this weekend.

Dolphins in the sunset 6/15/2009

Sorry, We left our camera at the dock this trip, but we had great sailing conditions today and this evening.  We have been having SW winds all month that get lighter in the evening.  We could not ask for better sailing weather in Orange Beach for June.  We had two 4 hour trips and a private sunset this evening with good brisk winds and lots of dolphins all day.  Book your trip with us this week and GO SAILING!

A few weeks of Updates in one Log 6/14/2009

Sorry for the Delay in Updating the logs, I have been getting emails asking for the next update so here it is!

We have been having great Orange Beach Sailing conditions for the past 2 weeks.  The weather has been clear and good wind for morning and afternoon adventure sailing.  High altitude cirrus clouds have been giving us great coloring in the evening for our sunset trips.

We had FULL MOON cruises that left the dock at 9pm and arrived back at 11pm.  These were awesome trips with light evening winds.  The moon would rise up out of the water and shine just like the morning sun.  It looked like diamonds on the water.

A few all days trips with great private beaches and swimming in clear water around Pensacola Pass.

Here is a sample of some of the trips we have taken over the past week...

Check our Photo Albums for updates with great pictures from All of our trips!

GO SAILING!

Minni ME! On My Birthday - Family Sailing Trip 6/4/2009

Yes, June the 4th was my birthday and I got a special guest on Sailob for it!  A 6 year old named Ryan!  He is now the official mini captain of the yacht.  We had a great trip out.  The rainy weather almost made us cancel the trip but there was a long enough break to get it in and have some fun.  We had clouds all around but none over us and the sun was shining.  We saw a few dolphins some pretty close to the boat.  The water is clearing up so we looked for other sea creatures also.  Mini Capt Ryan was full of great questions and we went over everything you do to make a sailboat work.  He was interested in everything, I even lifted him up and let him ride in the sail for a while.  We take saftey very serious at Orange Beach Sailing Adventures so all little ones get their life jacket and they also get tethered to a jack line that runs down both decks of the boat.  Click the the photo of Mini Capt Ryan on the deck to the right and see how we secure the little ones!  Come and Join us!  We are a very KID freindly sailboat!
