Orange Beach Sunset Sailing

An Alabama gulf coast sunset sail in Orange Beach is a great way to spend an evening out.  Our dock is positioned to give great access to the gulf and sail directly into the sunset.

We will depart the harbor about 2 hours before sunset.  After a short cruise down the channel we head for the open Gulf or the bay.  We will raise the sails shortly after and head towards the setting sun (wind permitting, of course) or as close to the sunset path as we can.

We'll happily heave to (sailing term meaning stop for a while) for you to take those great photos and enjoy a glass of wine or spend time with that special someone. 

We also have special trips when the Moon is full or almost full.  We can extend your Sunset trip way after dark to watch the moon rise!  The photo to the left is the current moon phase for Orange Beach, if it looks full give us a call to see if we are running a Moonlight Cruise.

You will then have the experience of returning to the dock in the dark! Don't worry our sailboats have LOTS of lights! We also have a great GPS, backup GPS, another backup GPS, a paper map, a VHF Radio, and a phone, so we should not get lost in the dark!We provide soft drinks, bottled water and snacks, but feel free to bring a bottle of wine, Champagne (we supply the opener and glasses), rum, beer or anything else to make yourself comfortable.

The sunset cruises in orange beach are the only trips that we pair couples or groups up to 6 people, when you book your trip you will have the option of a Private sunset tour if you would like.  Prices are per person unless you book a private sunset tour.

We had a great time! My girlfriend was so worried about getting sea sick as she had in the past on a fishing charter boat. AND the boat "leaning" to the side like some of the sailboats we had seen earlier in the week from the beach. After about 15 minutes onboard there were no worries.
