9:00 a.m. to Sunset
Experience Sailing Orange Beach and Pensacola to the Fullest
We will depart our dock at 9:00 a.m. and sail / motor either to the Gulf or down the Intracoastal Waterway depending on wind and tide. We will set a course to Sand Island, part of Big Lagoon State Park only accessible by boat. We will take a beach break when we arrive for lunch. You can swim, walk on the beach or lay on the deck and take a nap. It’s a great place to enjoy the unspoiled beaches of Perdido Key.
The sailing time is on the way to and from Sand Island. We may have to use the motor and sails to do this depending on the wind. During the summer, we usually have a good southern breeze, which is perfect for sailing to the island and back. It will be an easy sail with plenty to see. We will pass behind Ono Island and in front of the famous Flora-Bama. Arriving in Pensacola Pass, we should see plenty of dolphins (they seem to hang out more there), birds and schools of fish (we might try to catch one!). This Orange Beach sailing charter trip includes a private sunset, and we will get back after dark. Experience a sunset cruise in Orange Beach!
NOTE: If you want to sail OFF SHORE and bypass the stop for lunch (eat while sailing) we can also do this. Just let us know in the COMMENTS box in the check out. Remember it is your trip!
Option 1: Circumnavigate Perdido Cay – Launch into the ultimate Orange Beach and Pensacola adventure! At 9:00 a.m., we shove off the dock, engines roaring and sails snapping, charging toward the Gulf or slicing down the Intracoastal Waterway—wind and tide calling the shots. Your destination? Sand Island, a hidden gem in Big Lagoon State Park, unreachable by landlubbers. This is no ordinary sail—it’s a full-throttle quest to unspoiled Perdido Key shores.
Drop anchor and own the beach: dive into crystal waves, roam sugar-white sands, or sprawl on Attitude’s deck for a sun-soaked nap—lunch fueling your vibe. The journey’s the thrill—sails up on the way there and back, harnessing summer’s southern breeze (motor assist if the wind plays coy). Glide past Ono Island’s shadow, salute the legendary Flora-Bama, and storm into Pensacola Pass—dolphins flipping, birds soaring, fish schooling beneath (we might even snag one!). As the day crescendos, you’ll claim a private sunset—Orange Beach’s sky exploding in fire before we sail home at sunset. This isn’t just a charter; it’s your Gulf Coast legend!
Option 2: Offshore Pirate – Crave raw ocean over a beach pitstop? Skip the stop, devour lunch on the fly, and let us tear offshore into the wild Gulf. Let’s go so far that we can’t see land!
Option 3: Best of Both Worlds – For three adrenaline-charged hours, you’ll storm the Gulf aboard Sailob or Attitude, sails snapping in the wind, Captain Ryan or Captain Randy at the helm. Then, we flip the script for an hour of pure Gulf Coast eye candy. Slip into the glassy bays of Orange Beach and trace Ono Island’s edge—where million-dollar mansions peek through emerald trees and the water mirrors the sky. It’s your front-row seat to paradise—snap that selfie, sip a drink, and let the calm soak in after the Gulf’s roar. Three hours of sailor’s rush, one hour of tourist’s treasure—this is Orange Beach at its boldest and most beautiful.
